Configuration

KAEV automatically loads .kaevrc.json from the analyzed project root. Command-line options override configuration values.

Create a safe default file:

kaev init

An existing configuration is never overwritten.

Properties

Property	Meaning
version	Configuration schema version. Must be 1.
severity	Minimum displayed severity.
failOn	Quality-gate threshold or none.
ui5Lint	Enable or disable the official UI5 Linter integration.
color	auto, always, or never.
baseline	Safe project-root-relative baseline filename.
exclude	Bounded glob patterns excluded from discovery.
suppressions	Reviewed rule/file exceptions with a mandatory reason.

Unknown properties, invalid values, unsafe paths, oversized policy lists, and malformed suppressions fail closed with exit code 2.
