Analyze the current project without modifying it:

kaev
kaev check --verbose
kaev check --category performance
kaev check --severity high
kaev check --fail-on medium
kaev check --no-ui5-lint

kaev report

Create a new report file:

kaev report
kaev report --output ./reports/kaev.md
kaev report --category security --output ./reports/security.md
kaev report --format json --output ./reports/kaev.json
kaev report --format sarif --output ./reports/kaev.sarif
kaev report --format junit --output ./reports/kaev.xml

The parent directory must exist. Symbolic-link parent directories are rejected and existing files are never overwritten.

kaev doctor

Diagnose compatibility, project detection, configuration, source roots, baseline presence, and UI5 Linter availability:

kaev doctor

kaev init

Create a default .kaevrc.json without overwriting an existing file:

kaev init

kaev baseline

Record current findings for a “no new findings” quality gate:

kaev baseline

kaev explain

Show a rule’s category, severity, basis, rationale, recommendation, and references:

kaev workspace

Discover and analyze UI5 projects in a monorepo:

Global options

Option	Meaning
-v, --verbose	Show detailed evidence and recommendations.
-q, --quiet	Show significant findings only.
--category <name>	Analyze one category.
--severity <level>	Set the minimum displayed severity.
--fail-on <level>	Set the quality-gate threshold or none.
--format <format>	Select an output format.
--color <mode>	Use auto, always, or never.
--no-color	Disable ANSI color.
--config <file>	Use another project-root-relative configuration.
--baseline <file>	Use another project-root-relative baseline.
--no-ui5-lint	Skip UI5 Linter and mark coverage partial.
-V, --version	Print the installed version.
-h, --help	Show command help.
